Hello! I have a few facts about Guinea Pigs!

1.   Guinea pigs are very messy animals, they like to poo around and throw hay around in their cage.

2.  Guinea pigs are very social and they need to live at least with one more guinea pig. The more the better, because they will live longer.

3.  Guinea pigs live around four to eight years. 

4.  Guinea pigs are expensive, because you have to buy fresh food and hay every day.

5.  Guinea pigs can get sick and vets are expensive.

6.  Guinea pigs get noisy when they want food or when they hear a noise they do not like.

7.  A Guinea Pig cage can not be in the direct sunlight, because they can get a lightstroke.

8.  Guinea pigs like to be clean. They might do a big mess, but then you need to clean their cage.

9.  Before you get a guinea pig you should check if you have any alergies.

10. You have to have a friend or someone you trust pet sitting your guinea pigs while you are gone.

11.  You need a lot of time for your guinea pigs, you can have a full time job but in your free time you have to look after them.
